강원트리엔날레는 강원작가트리엔날레, 강원키즈트리엔날레, 강원국제트리엔날레로 구성된 국내 최초 3년 주기(Triennales) 국제 예술제입니다.
강원특별자치도의 역사적 정체성과 가치를 예술로 실현하고 유산으로 남기며 '강원특별자치도의 예술 공원화'를 이루어가고 있습니다. 뿐만 아니라 강원특별자치도 내 유휴공간을 활용하여 문화적 지역재생을 이룩하고, 주민 협업 프로젝트를 주도하며 예술을 통해 대중에게 더욱 가까이 다가가고 있습니다.
Gangwon Triennales are the first triennales of international art festival in Korea, consisting of Gangwon Artists Triennale, Gangwon Kids Triennale and Gangwon International Triennale.
Gangwon Province has fulfilled historical identities and values as an art, and left inheritances. Also it tries to make into an art park itself. Furthermore Gangwon Province has accomplished a cultural urban regeneration using idle places, and stepped forward to the public leading the resident collaboration projects.
